NFL Honors live updates. See who wins MVP, player, rookie of the year

The hardware was passed out for the 2025 NFL season. A couple of those awards even headed in the direction of two Cleveland Browns players.
The NFL Honors event was Feb. 5 at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco. The event featured the announcement of the various Associated Press individual NFL awards, as well as the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Class of 2026 and the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award.
Browns defensive end Myles Garrett was the unanimous pick for his second NFL Defensive Player of the Year award in three seasons, while linebacker Carson Schwesinger was the runaway winner of the Defensive Rookie of the Year award. Safety Grant Delpit was also the Browns’ honoree for the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year award.

The Class of 2026 for the Pro Football Hall of Fame is:

- Adam Vinatieri

No surprise. Browns star Myles Garrett was the winner of the NFL Defensive Player of the Year in unanimous vote.
Garrett is only the second unanimous Defensive Player of the Year. The other was the Houston Texans’ J.J. Watt in 2014.
New England Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels was voted as the NFL Assistant Coach of the Year. The Canton McKinley High School graduate who’s in his third stint with the Patriots is preparing for the Super Bowl, where New England will face the Seattle Seahawks.
McDaniels had 17 first-place votes, seven more than second-place Vance Joseph. The Denver Broncos defensive coordinator had 10 first-place votes, as nine assistant coaches drew at least one first-place vote.

The ceremony happens in the host city of the Super Bowl. This year, that is in the Bay Area, so it’s being held at the Palace of the Fine Arts in San Francisco.
