FOX Sports Will Produce 5½-Hour Pregame Show Live From Bourbon Street Set

FOX unveils pregame, Spanish-language, streaming, digital coverage plans for the Big Game
With Super Bowl LIX preparation in full swing, FOX Sports has unveiled its programming plans and lineup of on-air talent in New Orleans. In addition to coverage of the Big Game itself at Caesars Superdome (Feb. 9 at 6:30 p.m. ET), 67 hours of week-long content will culminate on Super Bowl Sunday with 5½ hours of FOX NFL Sunday, FOX NFL Kickoff, and FOX Super Bowl LIX Pregame from its set on Bourbon Street.
Brady, Burkhardt Headline Star-Studded On-Air Lineup

The roster of on-air talent for FOX Sports’ 11th Super Bowl boasts a collective 30 Super Bowl rings, headlined by its lead NFL announce team of play-by-play announcer Kevin Burkhardt and seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady. Super Bowl LIX will mark Brady’s first Super Bowl broadcast and a return to the site of his first Super Bowl win. Erin Andrews, the first woman honored with the Pat Summerall Award, and Tom Rinaldi, a 17-time Sports Emmy Award winner, will report from the field. FOX NFL rules expert Mike Pereira, former NFL VP of officiating, will offer analysis of officials’ calls throughout the game — his sixth Super Bowl with FOX, his 18th overall.

Curt Menefee will host FOX Super Bowl LIX Pregame from the broadcaster’s Bourbon Street set alongside Pro Football Hall of Famer and four-time Super Bowl champion Terry Bradshaw. The duo will be joined by Pro Football Hall of Famer and Super Bowl champion Howie Long, Hall of Famer and Super Bowl champ Michael Strahan, Pro Football Hall of Famer and two-time Super Bowl champion coach Jimmy Johnson, four-time Super Bowl champion and four-time All-Pro tight end Rob Gronkowski, and FOX NFL Insider, author, and speaker Jay Glazer.
Also joining the FOX Super Bowl LIX Pregame coverage are host Charissa Thompson, Pro Football Hall of Famer and Super Bowl champ Charles Woodson, three-time Super Bowl champion Julian Edelman, four-time Pro Bowler Michael Vick, NFL Insider/reporter Peter Schrager, FOX NFL reporter Kristina Pink, The Manning Hour host Cooper Manning, and the FOX Super Bowl LIX on-air team of Burkhardt, Brady, Andrews, and Rinaldi.
FOX NFL Sunday received the 2022 Sports Emmy for Outstanding Studio Show – Weekly and the George Wensel Technical Achievement Award. The entire cast is immortalized in the National Association of Broadcasters Hall of Fame, the only sports show to receive this honor.
A Week of Programming on FOX
Before the broadcaster’s live coverage from New Orleans starts at 1 p.m. ET, football fans will have hours of content to enjoy before the first snap. Road to the Super Bowl (11 a.m.), an award-winning NFL Films series, will feature classic slow-motion footage and the best of more than 100 players and coaches wired for sound.
The Madden Cruiser: A Bayou Adventure With Bill Belichick (noon) will be a one-hour special with eight-time Super Bowl champion Bill Belichick hopping aboard the legendary John Madden’s iconic “Madden Cruiser” bus for an unforgettable road trip to New Orleans. Special guests include Brady, Strahan, Menefee, Pro Football Hall of Famers Ed Reed and Ty Law, New Orleans legends Archie Manning and Tyrann Mathieu, and Emmy Award-winning media personality Rocsi Diaz.
On Super Bowl eve, fans can get their fix with two pieces of content. Global Rise of Flag Football (7 p.m.) will showcase the explosive growth of flag football in communities throughout the U.S. and around the world. Viewers will hear stories of this inclusive, accessible sport that is changing lives across six continents from passionate youth participants, elite flag athletes, and NFL players with a shared dream of making history at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games.
Following that will be Super Bowl Soulful Celebration (8 p.m.), the NFL’s only sanctioned inspirational concert, uniting cultures through music, faith, and football. Airing from New Orleans’ historic Mahalia Jackson Theater of Performing Arts and hosted by actor/comedian Bill Bellamy and Diaz, this year’s event will feature performances of R&B, gospel, and country music. It will also honor individual NFL players’ contributions both on and off the gridiron, spotlighting their actions toward making the world a better place. During the program, Strahan will be presented the Lifetime of Inspiration Award, celebrating his impact on sports, media, and philanthropy.
Throughout the week, fans can tune into FS1 for Super Bowl–themed content. On Monday, Feb. 3, NFL Super Bowl Opening Night (8 p.m.) with Thompson, Edelman, Schrager, Manning, and Mark Sanchez will give fans a sneak peek at the Super Bowl imagery at the Superdome and the opportunity to hear from the players and coaches during their only public appearance before the game.
On Thursday, Feb. 6, NFL Films Presents (12:30 a.m.) will reveal NFL stories as wonderful and dramatic as the world of football. Hosted by Thompson, the show details the paths of the two Super Bowl teams as they advance to and prepare for Super Bowl LIX.
On Thursday, Feb. 6, NFL Honors (9 p.m.) from Saenger Theater in New Orleans will recognize the best players, performances, and plays from the 2024 season. Hosted by Snoop Dogg, the event will include announcement of the prestigious Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award and the newest Pro Football Hall of Fame class.
FS1 Joins the Super Bowl Fun With Studio Shows
On Friday, Feb. 7, in addition to regularly scheduled daily studio programming on FS1, FOX broadcast channel will offer a special live presentation spotlighting FS1’s elite roster of shows and personalities. The lineup begins at noon with First Things First, with Nick Wright, Chris Broussard, and Kevin Wildes; followed by The Facility, with Emmanuel Acho, LeSean McCoy, James Jones, and Chase Daniels at 1:00 p.m.; Speak with Joy Taylor, Keyshawn Johnson, Paul Pierce, and Michael Irvin at 2:00 p.m.; Breakfast Ball, with Craig Carton, Mark Schlereth, and Danny Parkins at 3 p.m.; and The Herd With Colin Cowherd, with Jason McIntyre at 4:00 p.m.
On Thursday, Feb. 6, the shows on FS1 will emanate from the Bourbon Street set: Breakfast Ball at 8 a.m., The Facility at 10 a.m., The Herd With Colin Cowherd at noon, First Things First at 3 p.m., and Speak at 5 p.m.
FOX Deportes, Telemundo To Deliver Broadest Spanish-Language Distribution in U.S. Ever
FOX Deportes will present the Spanish-language telecast of the Super Bowl for the fifth time. The broadcaster logged the three highest-rated Spanish-language cable telecasts in Super Bowl history and four of the top five. Its Super Bowl LIX on-air team is led by award-winning host/reporter Rodolfo Landeros, renowned play-by-play announcer Adrian Garcia-Marquez, and analysts Jessi Losada and Jaime Motta.
On Super Bowl Sunday, FOX Deportes will offer nine hours of live coverage: Camino al Super Bowl (noon); El Entretiempo, with host Claudia Garica Muñoz (1 p.m.); Total Sports 360 Especial (3 p.m.); and, beginning at 4:00 p.m., a pregame show live from the Superdome with host Rodolfo Landeros and analysts Jaime Motta and Jessi Losada.
FOX Deportes’ lead announce team — play-by-play announcer Adrian Garcia-Márquez, Motta, and Losada —will call the action beginning at 6:30 p.m. Landeros will serve as sideline reporter. After the whistle, a postgame show will air at 10 p.m.
Throughout the week, FOX Deportes will present extensive coverage live from New Orleans, beginning Monday, Feb. 3, with a special three-hour program from Super Bowl Opening Night. The week’s programming comprises special editions of the broadcaster’s trademark NFL program, NFLEros, as well as Total Sports 360 and popular roundtable sports-talk show El Entretiempo.
FOX Deportes and Telemundo previously announced a deal to air Super Bowl LIX live in Spanish on both networks. The relationship will provide the broadest Spanish-language distribution in the U.S. for any Super Bowl in history.
TUBI Offers Super Bowl LIX ‘Takeover’
As part of the broadcaster’s extensive coverage, Super Bowl LIX will be the first time FOX Sports rolls out its special takeover of Tubi for the Big Game, with the FOX and FOX Deportes broadcast streamed on the platform live in 4K (on compatible devices). Featured content is set to include FOX’s Super Bowl LIX Pregame Show and a first-of-its-kind live preshow titled Tubi Red Carpet at Super Bowl LIX. Hosted by Olivia Culpo, the show, from the Superdome beginning at 3:30 p.m., will cover the celebrity, fashion, and culture behind America’s biggest sports event.
