Teams

With four teams competing across various levels, IMG Academy football will identify which program is the best fit for prospective student-athletes in grades 6-12 based on their age, skill level, position, and overall goals.

IMG Academy is a full member of the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA), and the National Team competes as an independent. IMG Academy follows the practice requirements and standards issued by the FHSAA.

NATIONAL

IMG Academy’s National Team takes on an incredibly competitive schedule against some of the nation’s most elite programs. Players will arrive in July to begin their pre-season training camp, compete in 10+ games in the Fall, train and develop during the Winter off-season, and continue to train in the Spring before the Spring Practice Game. This team is comprised of some of the nation’s top collegiate recruits as well as those with aspirations to compete in the NFL.

JR National

The IMG Academy JR National team, ranked among Florida’s top 50 teams by MaxPreps, competes against the state’s top 250 teams while also taking on national and international challenges. Their rigorous schedule includes in-state matchups, out-of-state trips, and notable international competitions, such as matches against the NFL Academy in London (2022, 2023), Dublin, Ireland, and Munich, Germany (2024). The team’s focus on high-level regional development and competitive growth has led to back-to-back Sunshine State Independent Association Florida State Championships in 2023 and 2024, cementing their dominance in the region. IMG Academy JR National provides student-athletes with unparalleled opportunities to develop, compete, and excel on and off the field.

State

The IMG Academy State team focuses on developing players at the state level, competing against a broad range of teams within Florida’s competitive ranks. This program provides student-athletes with a platform to refine their skills, grow alongside similarly skilled teammates, and work toward advancing to regional and national teams. Games are primarily scheduled on Thursday nights, offering players a prime stage to showcase their abilities and progress in a competitive environment. With a commitment to fostering growth and unlocking potential, IMG Academy State team helps student-athletes reach new heights in an unrivaled training atmosphere.

Quarterback Academy

The IMG Academy Quarterback Academy (QBA) is an elite training program designed to develop student-athletes through a structured development pathway that prepares them for high school, college, and beyond. Quarterbacks receive personalized coaching from former NFL quarterback Jeff Blake and Kurt Gould, who have trained top talent like JJ McCarthy.
The program follows a progressive training model with two tiers, QBA Fundamental for beginners and QBA Elite for advanced players, ensuring athletes develop at the right pace. Training includes individualized instruction, film analysis, and weekly progress reports, along with highlight videos and college recruiting support, providing the tools and exposure needed to succeed at the next level.

Post-grad

The IMG Academy Post-Grad Football Program offers a highly selective, intensive training experience for 15 dedicated athletes focused on maximizing college placement opportunities. This program features a structured, position-specific roster that integrates seamlessly with our National Team practices. Through consistent reps against top-tier high school athletes, participants will gain valuable practice film, crucial for college recruiting. With no game-play component, the emphasis is on skill development and evaluation through training sessions led by our National Team coaching staff, who will also guide athletes in their college placement efforts.
