2025 NFL draft: Saints formally interviewed Ole Miss WR Tre Harris at combine

The New Orleans Saints have had a decently long list of formal meetings with 2025 NFL draft prospects, including some of the best of the best at many positions. As they continue to do their due diligence on the class, giving both the front office and new coaching staff all the information they need to make informed decisions, they have had another meeting to gather info.

The most recent meeting reported for the Saints was with Ole Miss wide receiver Tre Harris, as was reported by Ryan Fowler of The Draft Network. The Saints are the only team from the NFC South on the list of teams with formal meetings, and one of only four NFC teams overall as well, in addition to three of the four NFC West teams.
Harris has been a strong red zone target, producing 25 touchdowns in the last three seasons on 179 receptions (13.97% touchdown percentage). In addition, the last two seasons have been high-quality for him, producing 1,030 receiving yards on 60 targets in 2024, with 7 touchdowns, and averaging 128.8 yards per game.
Harris did play eight games this season too, so these statistics could have been even further improved given a few more games. Unfortunately, he was dealing with a re-aggravated groin injury in November and at various points throughout the season, which led to him missing the other few games. Regardless, he had a strong showing in 2024, and with the Saints needing additional wide receiver help, he may be someone to watch come April.
