2025 NFL schedule release live updates: Leaks, rumors, news, analysis, Thanksgiving and Christmas games

The leaks are over, the 2025 NFL schedule has been released!

Now that we have the full 272-game regular-season schedule, here are a few highlights:

  • Eagles will host the Cowboys in NFL opener. Philadelphia will be kicking off the 2025 season by hosting Dallas in a divisional showdown.
  • Super Bowl rematch in Week 2. After facing the Cowboys in Week 1, the Eagles won’t get much of a break and that’s because they’ll be traveling to Kansas City to face the Chiefs in Week 2. It will be a rematch of last season’s Super Bowl, which the Eagles handily won, 40-22.
  • Thanksgiving tripleheader. The annual tripleheader on Thanksgiving Day will open with the Packers at Lions followed by Chiefs at Cowboys. The Bengals will then travel to Baltimore for the Turkey Day nightcap.
  • The NFL is also giving us a tripleheader on Christmas Day. The Chiefs, Cowboys and Lions will all be pulling holiday double-duty this year. The Cowboys will be facing the Commanders on Christmas followed by the Lions traveling to Minnesota. The final game on Dec. 25 will then see the Broncos traveling to Kansas City.
