Now that the annual NFL owners meetings have concluded, the next big date on the league calendar is the draft.
Once relegated to afternoons inside smokey hotels, the NFL draft has become one of the biggest primetime television events in sports spread over three days.

When is the NFL draft?
The 2025 NFL draft is April 24-26 this year. The first round takes place on Thursday night with the second and third rounds on Friday night. Rounds four through seven are on Saturday afternoon.

The first round of the NFL draft on Thursday, April 24 begins at 8 p.m. ET. Day 2 of the draft on Friday, April 25 is at 7 p.m. ET. The final day of the draft begins at noon ET.
