The Netflix Sports Club Podcast with Host Kay Adams Premieres June 6

Crank up the volume and lock in, because the Netflix Sports Club Podcast is here. Hosted by seasoned NFL voice and all-around sports authority Kay Adams, the new video podcast breaks down Netflix’s biggest sports titles, offering sharp analysis, surprising stories, and exclusive behind-the-scenes insight you won’t find anywhere else.

Adams has spent her career channeling a lifelong love of sports into standout roles at places like Sirius XM, NBC, and NFL Network, where she helped launch Good Morning Football, and quickly became a trusted voice for fans. Her natural curiosity, storytelling instincts, and fan-first perspective have shaped every step of her path — from debating football in a sports bar to leading her own show. As host of the Netflix Sports Club Podcast, she brings the same passion, insight, and authenticity that have always defined her work — and so has a genuine love for sports.

“I recognized as a young girl how connective sports were,” Adams tells Tudum. “Whether I was on my couch screaming for Matt Forte on a run, cheering for Poland in the Olympics with my whole family, or listening to a Bulls game with my dad in the car. The competition, the highs and lows, the inspiration and the heartbreak … How can you not love sports?”

Each episode, Adams will be joined by a Netflix correspondent along with athletes, coaches, or key figures from Netflix’s growing roster of sports titles — delivering real talk, smart takes, and the kind of access that brings sports fans even closer to the action. Episode 3 of the Netflix Sports Club Podcast dives into the epic Taylor vs. Serrano 3 fight, streaming live July 11 on Netflix. Host Kay Adams is joined by boxing insider Ariel Helwani to break down the biggest storylines: the rise of women’s boxing, Amanda Serrano’s controversial loss in their last bout, and whether this could be Katie Taylor’s final fight. Plus, Taylor herself joins the show to reflect on how her fighting style has evolved — and what this historic moment at Madison Square Garden means to her.

Who will be on the Netflix Sports Club Podcast?

The Netflix Sports Club Podcast will be hosted by Adams and feature a rotation of correspondents, including reporter and host Kirsten Watson, who brings expertise in baseball, basketball, football, and Formula 1, along with reporter Dani Klupenger, who holds expertise in tennis, basketball, and football. Together, they’ll dive into the moments and personalities that define Netflix’s sports slate, from buzzy new series to athlete-fueled matchups that keep fans coming back for more.

How do I listen to the Netflix Sports Club Podcast?

Full video episodes will be released on Tudum.com, YouTube, and Spotify, while audio episodes will be released on all podcast platforms, including Apple and Spotify.

“There’s no wrong way to consume great content,” Adams says. “I can’t tell you the number of times I’ll start a podcast on video and finish it in the car on my way to work … The more ways to listen and watch, the better, and we’re so excited to bring visual elements from our favorite Netflix shows and exclusive moments with our favorite stars to the podcast.”

Do I need to be a hardcore sports fan to listen?

As Netflix continues to expand its sports programming, from behind-the-scenes series to headline-making live events, the Netflix Sports Club Podcast is geared toward both casual viewers and passionate fans.

“Netflix has done a brilliant job in introducing sports like F1 and golf to a broader audience because of the access and behind-the-scenes exclusivity yes, but mostly, the storytelling,” Adams says. “The focus on the individual [stories] hooked me right away.”

She points to upcoming series like F1: The Academy, America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, and the highly anticipated rematch between Amanda Serrano and Katie Taylor as proof of a shift in the sports landscape: “Their first fight on Netflix was magic,” she says.

What’s Kay Adams going to cover on the Netflix Sports Club Podcast this season?

With Quarterback Season 2 around the corner — spotlighting Joe Burrow, Jared Goff, and a returning Kirk Cousins — Adams says she’s looking forward to watching the famously private Burrow’s entry into the spotlight.

“Behind the scenes with Joe Burrow?” Sign me up!” she says. “Watching him navigate a spotlight he doesn’t necessarily ask for, and to challenge himself to be comfortable being uncomfortable, has been inspiring to watch. I want to know how he ticks, what he’s thinking, and what his home life might look like, all while he tries to reach the mountaintop with a Lombardi.”
