New England Patriots at Miami Dolphins

The New England Patriots and Miami Dolphins will meet for the first of two scheduled meetings in 2025 this week in Miami. The teams will close out the regular season in the final game of the year at Gillette Stadium. The time and date of that game has not been set yet.

The Patriots have lost four straight games to Miami after being swept in both the 2023 and 2024 seasons. Last year, the Patriots lost 15-10 in the first meeting at Gillette Stadium on Oct. 6 and then lost at Miami, 34-15, on Nov. 24. Overall, the Patriots have lost five straight games at Miami, with the Patriots last win coming in a 43-0 victory on Sept. 15, 2019.

New England has the advantage against Miami in home games, leading the series 38-21 – including 17-6 at Gillette Stadium – but are 17-43 in road games against the Dolphins. The Dolphins and Patriots met for the first time in 1966 and began playing twice a year during the 1967 regular season, except in 1982 during a players’ strike.

The two teams have played three times in the postseason with New England holding a 2-1 advantage.
