What Is Tom Brady’s Net Worth? Inside His Massive Fortune On and Off the Field

Tom Brady spent 23 years building his career as one of the most revered quarterbacks in NFL history — and he has the financial success (as well as seven Super Bowl rings) to show for it.

In February 2023, Forbes reported Brady’s net worth to be around $530 million over the course of his career from football earnings and endorsements combined. According to the outlet, he was among the top 50 highest-paid athletes of that year.

Following his retirement in February 2023, Brady started a new gig as a broadcaster, commentating on his first Super Bowl on Feb. 9, 2025. The former Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback turned heads at the event as he stepped out in a neat gray suit and a $740,000 Jacob & Co. watch.

Brady has previously spoken about the challenges of explaining wealth to his three children as they live in a different “reality” than the one he and his ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen, grew up in.

“I think the hardest thing for us as parents … I grew up in a middle-class family in California,” he said on the Drive With Jim Farley podcast in July 2022. “My dad worked his a– off for our family. My mom stayed at home, took care of us kids. Then I look at my life with my family and it’s so fast.”

He continued, “You just hope you can show them enough things to realize when they are doing things that are selected for Mom and Dad to make our lives more convenient that that is a treat.”

From his football career to his broadcasting endeavors, here’s everything to know about how Tom Brady amassed his net worth.

Brady has been open about prioritizing the love of the game over money, explaining at Fortune’s Global Forum in November 2024 that he felt striving for success was more important than his bank account.

“Is money the only thing we value?” he said. “I mean to me that wasn’t, I always felt like I took less money so that we could win.”

He echoed similar sentiments during a September 2023 talk with Valuetainment, explaining that finances weren’t what propelled him to his record-breaking success.

“It was the same motivation. Money didn’t motivate me, fame didn’t motivate me, I didn’t give a s— about any of it,” he said. “I didn’t care about going to all these different places and doing those kinds of things, I just wanted to be my best.”
