Aaron Rodgers Trolls Jets, Tom Brady Has Line of the Day

The first full Sunday of the NFL season gave us everything we could have wanted, well, except for the those annoying ads on NFL RedZone, of course.

Aaron Rodgers made his Steelers debut against the Jets and the 41-year-old quarterback looked like he did back in his Packers days as he threw for four touchdowns in a thrilling win over his former team.

Micah Parsons made his Packers debut and immediately made a big impact in his new team’s win over the Lions at Lambeau Field.

Oh, and then the Bills wrapped it all up late Sunday night with one of the most ridiculous comebacks you’ll ever see as they scored 16 unanswered points in the final four minutes to stun the Ravens, 41-40, with a game-winning field goal as time expired.

Let’s now have even more fun and hand out some very important awards for the best, worst, and funniest moments from what was a great opening Sunday of NFL action.

As we said above, Rodgers torched his former team by throwing four touchdown passes in a 34-32 win over the Jets.

After the game he had some fun taunting Jets fans:

And then he torched the whole organization with this savage line: “I was happy to beat everybody associated with the Jets.”

Seems like Rodgers enjoyed his Sunday at MetLife Stadium.

The Bills QB was unbelievable all night long against the Ravens, but especially in the frantic final minutes of their comeback win over the Ravens.

Right after the victory he had a very honest message for any Bills fans who might have left the game early:

Brady is back for his second season in the booth with Fox Sports and he had the line of the weekend during the Commanders’ win over the Giants when he saw Jayden Daniels and Abdul Carter having a conversation during a stop in action:

“Nobody’s spitting on one another, that’s a bonus right now,” Brady said. “Just being honest.”

That, of course, was in reference to Eagles star Jalen Carter being tossed from last Thursday night’s opener after spitting on Dak Prescott.

This guy had one job during the anthem Sunday at MetLife Stadium: Don’t get caught on the flag. But he failed at that. Miserably.

The Bengals star didn’t shy away from sharing his feelings about a call that went against him during the team’s win over the Browns, as he pretended to cry while seemingly mocking the refs for throwing the flag.

The Rams were able to squeak past the Texans, 14-9, at home on Sunday thanks to the play of their veteran quarterback who showed on this TD pass just how easy this game can be for him. This looked absolutely effortless:

Russell Wilson had a disappointing debut with the Giants, as he wasn’t able to lead the offense to a single touchdown in their 21-6 loss. This shot of wide receiver Malik Nabers in the final minutes of the game shows just how things went for the Giants.

The Falcons kicker had a chance to be a hero in the final seconds of their home opener against the Buccaneers. Instead, he hit a slice that would make an amateur golfer blush.

Pittsburgh’s Chris Boswell hit both of his field goal attempts in Sunday’s win over the Jets, including a 60-yard boot that gave the Steelers the lead with just over a minute left in the game.

Afterwards, Mike Tomlin called Boswell a “serial killer.”

Jones won the starting job during the preseason and then made the most of his debut, leading the Colts offense to two field goals and two touchdowns on their first four drives.

That’s something that hasn’t been done by the team in an opener since Manning was the QB all the way back in 2006.

Daboll and Nabers had words during the first half of their loss to the Commanders, and the coach tried to put things behind them with a high-five.

That didn’t go well for him:

Unlike Daboll, the Packers coach was able to connect with one of his best players during Sunday’s win over the Lions.

Ward had a rough first game in the NFL, throwing for just 112 yards in the Titans’ 20-12 loss to the Broncos.

His dad seemed to get a little frustrated during the game:

The Lions lost to the Packers on Sunday, but Teslaa will never forget the first touchdown catch of his NFL career.
