Mistrial declared in 2022 killing of Gwinnett County coach at gas station

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – A mistrial has been declared in the trial of the accused killers of a Gwinnett County football coach.
Bradley Coleman was killed on July 10, 2022, during an attempted carjacking. Coleman was at a Peachtree Corners QuikTrip when several men tried to steal his car. Coleman resisted and was shot.
“I can’t instruct the jury. I can’t unring the bell. The state’s comment (are) improper and prejudicial,” Judge Tamela Adkins said.
The Gwinnett County District Attorney’s Office released the following statement:
David Booker, Josiah Hughley and Miles Collins were being tried for the crime. All three were charged with felony murder and aggravated assault.
Jury selection in the trial began last Monday.
