Patriots vs. 49ers: NFL Week 4 final score, news, injuries, more

The New England Patriots lost their third straight game against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 4. Making the trip to Levi’s Stadium for the first time in eight years, the team of head coach Jerod Mayo suffered a 30-13 defeat that was once again not close.

The Patriots quickly fell into an early hole, trailing 20-0 in the second quarter. Turnovers by Rhamondre Stevenson and Jacoby Brissett contributed 10 of those points, and put what is an offensively challenged squad in an impossible position yet again.

While New England did show some signs of life around the half, it was never enough to seriously challenge the 49ers. As a consequence, the team has now dropped to 1-3 on the year.
