Steelers vs Jets: 3 bold predictions for this week’s game

After a long and active offseason, the Pittsburgh Steelers finally play football this weekend. Pittsburgh is going on the road to take on the New York Jets. It will be a showdown between quarterbacks Aaron Rodgers and Justin Fields as they face off against their former teams.

We have a great feeling about this game so we decided to make three bold predictions about this week’s game.

Aaron Rodgers throws for 300+ yards

Rodgers might not want anyone to think this game isn’t personal but you best believe it is. The Jets have a strong run defense, so we are predicting the Steelers turn to Rodgers and he racks up an easy 300+ yard game through the air.

Steelers defense sacks Justin Fields four times

Pittsburgh knows exactly what the Jets have in Fields and his tendency to hold onto the football far too long. Pittsburgh has struggled to rush the passer the past two seasons, but it gets off to a hot start on Sunday with four sacks.

Big road win

We will dig deeper into our official prediction later in the week but for a bold prediction, we are calling for a blowout. The Jets took a big step back at quarterback, and the Steelers take advantage en route to a two-touchdown win.
