Super Bowl LIX opening night: Everything to know and how to watch

The Eagles and Chiefs are heading to New Orleans for Super Bowl LIX, with the host, Philadelphia, set to arrive an hour before Kansas City.
Philadelphia will participate in a weightlifting session at the Saints facility before the festivities kick off massively on Monday night with Super Bowl Opening Night fueled by Gatorade at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans as players and coaches make their first public appearance during Super Bowl week!

Opening Night takes the place of the traditional “media day” that the NFL hosts for hundreds of media members. From 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM CT, hundreds of media will interview the Super Bowl players and coaches for the first time during their only public appearance in New Orleans before taking the field for Super Bowl LIX. This is the only time the two teams will be together in one location prior to Super Bowl Sunday.

What is Super Bowl Opening Night?

Opening Night takes the place of the traditional “media day” that the NFL hosts for hundreds of media members. Fans can be there to see the Super Bowl LIX participating teams in public for the first time before Super Bowl Sunday.
Super Bowl Opening Night will also feature live New Orleans-style entertainment, special appearances, and autographs by NFL Legends and team mascots, as well as fan photo opportunities and the chance to see Super Bowl players and coaches answer media’s questions in real-time.
Fans attending Opening Night fueled by Gatorade at Caesar’s Superdome on February 3, are encouraged to download the NFL OnePass app at nfl.com/onepass and bring their own headphones to listen to audio from the Player Podiums! Headphones will also be available for purchase for $20 from the NFL Shop presented by Visa inside the Caesars Superdome.
