TIUA Sets Itself Apart: A Legacy of Faith, Family, and Football

By Myles Mohair | HuddleUp Magazine
When you grow up in a family where education and football both matter, you realize that discipline, legacy, and teamwork aren’t just words—they’re a way of life. That’s the story behind Trinity International University of Ambassadors (TIUA), and it’s also the story of my own family.
A Christian University with Global Reach
TIUA isn’t your typical Christian university. With United Nations ECOSOC consultative status, it empowers students to think and lead beyond borders. Each year, TIUA brings its vision to New York, Geneva, Vienna, Zambia, Nigeria, and Ghana, proving that faith-based education can operate on a world stage.
This bold approach has earned TIUA recognition with multiple Georgia House Resolutions in 2025 and the Fluxx Award for Educational Leadership in Hong Kong, establishing it as a respected institution of faith and leadership.

Faith in Action, Not Just in the Classroom
TIUA has never limited its mission to academics alone. During the COVID-19 pandemic, its network helped feed more than 50,000 families. It also introduced Girls Empowerment Day and Entrepreneur Day, initiatives that anchor education in real-world action.
As founder and chancellor Dr. Jacqueline Mohair puts it:
“While many Christian universities focus only on academics, TIUA bridges the classroom with the Capitol, the church with the United Nations, and students with platforms for real-world impact.”
My Family’s NFL Legacy: Jeff Moore
For me, TIUA is also about family. My grandmother, the late Dr. Rosie Lee Perteet, was a lifelong educator whose vision still inspires everything TIUA does. My mom, Dr. Jacqueline Mohair, carries that mantle today as TIUA’s chancellor. And my uncle, Jeff Moore, carved out his own legacy on the gridiron.
Jeff Moore played as a running back in the NFL for the Seattle Seahawks, San Francisco 49ers, and Washington Redskins. His career showed me how grit, perseverance, and discipline can take you from local fields to national stages. I’ve already written about Uncle Jeff here at HuddleUp, but his story continues to inspire me—and it mirrors the values TIUA instills in its students today.
Football taught him resilience and leadership. Education takes those same lessons and transforms them into global impact.
Beyond the Cheer: Opening Doors for Girls in Sports
Through Trinity Girls Network Corp., TIUA extends its mission to empower young women. The program encourages girls to go beyond traditional roles like cheerleading, opening doors to sports broadcasting, media, leadership, and entrepreneurship.
It’s a vision rooted in my family’s own journey—my sister started as a high school cheerleader but is now studying to become an anesthesiologist. TIUA is helping other young women rewrite their own stories the same way.
Alumni Who Lead With Faith and Purpose
TIUA alumni are pastors, entrepreneurs, chaplains, nonprofit founders, and authors. They lead in pulpits, boardrooms, and international conferences. They carry the same values my uncle Jeff carried onto the field: grit, faith, and a determination to leave a legacy.
Final Word
At TIUA, education doesn’t stop at the classroom door. It reaches into communities, governments, and even NFL legacies. For those ready to lead with both faith and purpose, this is where the journey begins.
